Digital Book Publishing : a European Vision ?

07.11.2015 | With the transformation of the book publishing industry in full swing, the goal of the XV edition of the Assises du livre numérique is to identify exemplary perspectives and topics from a European perspective and illuminate the junction where strategic visions meet practical challenges and opportunities in Europe. The well known on-going changes in the US do constitute an obvious benchmark, however the specificity of the local national markets in continental Europe can deeply affect the trajectory and the pace of changes. While the digitization of the publishing industry is a macro-trend that applies at global level, the ways it manifests itself depends on many local factors. UK, Germany and Italy are the closest markets for the French Publishing industry.

At the XV Assises du livre numériqueAll Brain‘s founder and managing partner Marcello Vena, will take part to an executive panel debate on the Digital Transformation of the Book Publishing Industry in Europe: reality and opportunities together with:

  • Michael Bhaskar, Cofounder and Publishing Director at Canelo Digital Publishing, United Kingdom
  • Jens Klingelhöfer, Managing Director Bookwire GmbH, Germany
  • Fabrice Piault, Editor-in-Chief Livres Hebdo, France (as Moderator)

The panel takes place on November 13th from 10.15 am till 11.15 am in the Novotel Tour Eiffel (61 quai de Grenelle 75015 Paris). The XV edition of Assises du livre numérique   opens at 9.30 am  and closes at 5pm on November 13th 2015.
